Roleplaying as an animal is a privilege and not a right. Players caught violating these animal rules, or roleplaying unrealistically, may be temporarily suspended or revoked pending admin approval. Serious violations may result in a player's animal character being deleted and permanent removal from the animal program. While roleplaying as an animal, players are still subject to the B⭐️Community Rules and B⭐️Terms Of Service.
The table below shows the approved animal types that can be requested; animals not listed below will require additional justification in your ticket. The justification should include the type of animal, the reason for the animal selection, and what you plan for the animal's character arc. “It would be cool if our gang had a panther” would be an example of a poor roleplay reason for requesting a panther.

To be considered for the animal roleplay program, you must be a Five⭐️Supporter. After subscribing, navigate to the 🎫⋮create⋆ticket
channel in the B⭐️Discord and open a Roleplay Request ticket.
BOX ONE - “WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO REQUEST FOR ROLEPLAY?”
In this box, you should put that you want approval to roleplay as an animal. You should also include the type of animal you will be roleplaying. Players wanting to roleplay as a K9 (a police dog) should include the name of the department they intend to join.
BOX TWO - “DO YOU NEED TO IMPORT ANY MODELS OR MAPS?”
Players who want to use new ped models should put those details here. The name of the model, a link to it, etc. NOTE: Providing a PED model does not guarantee it will be approved. PEDs will need to meet the asset requirements. If a model is approved, import fees may apply, and the PED model will be publicly available when added. Models are not locked to one player.
BOX THREE - “DO YOU NEED STAFF ASSISTANCE?”
Put “Yes” for staff to review your request.
After submitting your request, please be patient. Staff will review and ask any additional questions, as needed, before approving or declining your request. If declined, you must wait thirty (30) days before reapplying.
Exceptions are extremely rare, but they can be made for players without Five⭐️ Supporter. Players must have been part of the B⭐️RP community for two months or more and have a good roleplay reason for wanting to be a K9.
The character creation process for animal characters is straightforward. After connecting to the server, find an empty character slot and select the “+” icon to create a new one. Enter the animal's first and last name (e.g, K9 Crush), enter a date of birth, and then put the dog breed type as the nationality. Select ‘Create’ to be taken to the character creation screen.
On the character creation screen, find the “model” field at the top and select the animal model approved during the approval phase. Below is a list of the current animal models:
MODEL NAME | ANIMAL | NOTES |
a_c_shepard | German Shepherd | Police Only |
k9_Husky | Husky | Police Only |
FT-pterrier | Pitbull | Criminal/Civilian/PD |
Golden_r | Golden Retriever | EMS/Police Only |
a_c_pug | Pug | Criminal/Civilian Only |
a_c_retriever | Retriever | Criminal/Civilian Only |
a_c_rottweiler | Rottweiler | Criminal/Civilian Only |
a_c_dalmation | Dalmation | Fire/EMS/LEO |
doberman | Doberman | Criminal/Civilian Only |
a_c_cat_01 | Cat | Criminal/Civilian Only |
Players approved for a model not listed (specially imported into the game) will be given the model name to select when creating their character. Approved models that are added will be made public, they are not specific to the person who imported them.
After selecting the appropriate model, any customization options will be listed under appearance or clothes (the options that are not listed as 0 or -1 for the number of choices). Customize the animal, then hit “Save” to complete character creation.
NOTE: Players who create an animal character they were approved for, or a second animal without approval, may be temporarily suspended or have their privileges revoked pending admin approval. Serious violations may result in a player's animal character being deleted and permanent removal from the animal program.
Animal roleplay should be as realistic as possible, animals should not be running around, talking on the phone, driving vehicles, or smoking a bong. The following are rules players are expected to follow while roleplaying as an animal.
1. | Animal roleplayers are not allowed to drive vehicles; planes, cars, boats; absolutly not. Animals have somewhere between two and four legs, they should use them. |
2. | Animals are not allowed to open doors unless they are unlocked and can be pushed open. If the door is locked, and cannot realistically be opened by an animal, players are expected to wait for someone else to open it. |
2.a. | Animals that have keys to properties can enter them unaided, this would be the same as them using a ‘doggy door’ allowing pets to come and go. |
3. | Animal models, classed as large, can be used (within reason) as limited storage for their owner's equipment. Smaller animal models should not be used as a ‘mule’. Animals carrying items such as handcuffs, or other items an animal would not normally use are not allowed to them solely because they are carrying them. Players unsure whether their model is classified as large can ask via a Support Ticket. |
4. | Animal roleplayers may gain money through employment, or other means, but they are not allowed to spend it. Animal roleplayers are not allowed to; transfer money from their account, or person to another player. Attempts to transfer money from one character to another will be considered ‘Failure To Separate Character’ it is not allowed. |
4.a. | In rare circumstances, where animal roleplayers need to give money from their animal to someone else, they should open a Roleplay Request ticket, with justification for the transfer, and ask for staff approval before transferring any funds. |
5. | Animal roleplayers should utilize /me and /do commands to beg or ask for food, they are not allowed to enter stores and buy food, drink, and other supplies. |
6. | Animal roleplayers should not use joints or bongs to relieve stress unless no other option is available; this ruins the realism. |
7. | No talking. This means either in person, over a radio, or a phone. Animals don’t talk so it should be kept that way. |
8. | Soundboard are encouraged, but not required. Soundboards can only be used to play realistic animal sounds. Animal role-players can use the default sounds associated with their character model or use /do to ‘vocalize’ the sounds they are making. Animals are not allowed to have/use 'Bluetooth' or other devices to play non-animal sounds, sound clips, etc. |
9. | Animal roleplayers can own, but not use a cell phone, this includes; calling, texting, and using other phone apps such as Birdy. The phone is for alerting medical personnel, not communication outside of this. |
10. | Animal roleplayers are allowed radio and may join the channel their group is on to listen BUT they cannot; talk, bark, meow, or otherwise interact over the radio in any fashion. |
10.a. | Animal roleplay owners are not allowed to give commands over the radio. |
11. | Animal roleplayers who attack other players should only do so when there is a valid roleplay reason. Animals with an owner should be commanded to “attack”, before attacking. |
11.a. | Animal roleplayers are not allowed to roleplay as ‘feral’ and attack everyone, this would be classed as RDM. |
12. | Animal roleplayers are not allowed to carry or escort other players or animals. This may be subject to change when animal animations are more realistic |
13. | Civilian animal roleplayers are not allowed to have bodycams. |
14. | Animal roleplayers are not allowed to carry weapons. They can use the animal weapon emotes available, but they cannot be in carrying actual guns or weapons. |
15. | /me can be used to express what an animal character is thinning. For example, ‘/me thinking about food ’. It should be used to add detail via the expression of thoughts, it is not to be used as a way to ‘speak’ For example, ‘/me I'm bored, lets go rob some people ’ |
16. | /do can be used to show what an animal character is doing. For example, ‘/do stare down the bird across the road ’. Actions that cannot be done via emotes or other actions. This should not be abused. |
While enticing, it is important to note that Police K9 RP is not as exciting as it might sound. There are long periods of downtime, you will spend anywhere from minutes to hours sitting in the cell block or the back of a car without much interaction. For this reason, a K9 is advised as a secondary character, not a main character.
Realistically a K9 will only be deployed by its handler in foot chase scenarios where there is little risk of a shootout, or in a shootout scenario where you can assist based on your handler's orders with minimum risk to your safety. K9 may be involved in one-two chases a day, with very few ending up biting someone. This is where the animal roleplayer needs to be creative and make their fun within the rules, to avoid the stagnant nature of being a PD K9.
Animal roleplay should be as realistic as possible, animals should not be running around, talking on the phone, driving vehicles, or smoking a bong. The following are rules players are expected to follow while roleplaying as an animal. In addition to the guidelines below, animal roleplayers must follow all department and K9 SOPs provided during training. K9 should always listen to their handler unless the roleplay dictates otherwise.
A K9 can be employed by an LEO department and Fire/EMS, if both employing departments agree and the K9 is trained appropriately by each department. A department trains a K9 to perform specific tasks and behave in a certain way. EMS & Fire K9 are trained in search and rescue. LEO K9s are trained to sniff drugs and attack on command. K9 can swap departments with approval.
1. | Police KP must wear a police vest at all times, when on the clock. |
2. | Animal roleplayers are not allowed to drive vehicles; planes, cars, boats; absolutly not. Animals have somewhere between two and four legs, they should use them. |
2.a. | When riding in a police vehicle, the standard is that the K9 always sits directly behind their handler. This may be different depending on your department, so check your SOPs. |
3. | Animals are not allowed to open doors unless they are unlocked and can be pushed open. If the door is locked, and cannot realistically be opened by an animal, players are expected to wait for someone else to open it. |
3.a. | Animals that have keys to properties can enter them unaided, this would be the same as them using a ‘doggy door’ allowing pets to come and go. |

13. | Animal roleplayers are not allowed to carry or escort other players or animals. This may be subject to change when animal animations are more realistic |
14. | Police K9 are the only animal approved to use a bodycam, they must have the physical bodycam item in their inventory, and equipped, so it shows on their vest. |
14.a. | Standard evidence rules apply to K9 bodycams; once fully downed, all footage/screenshots from the prior incident are deleted unless there was a CCTV. |
14.b. | A police officer may retrieve a K9's bodycam and review it for evidence assuming they're aware of the situation, and the K9 did not go down during the scene (flatbacked). Criminals can also take/destroy the bodycam as well. |
15. | Searching A Player: If your handler orders you to sniff someone for drugs or gunpowder; police K9s have an built-in mechanic/tool that should be utilized. To ‘sniff’; third eye the player to be searched and select the ‘Sniff Person’ option. You will then sniff the player and give a response; you smell nothing, the scent of drugs, or the scent of gunpowder (or both in some cases). You can then relay this information by barking or using /do . For example, '/do alerts to the smell of drugs ' Abuse of this and alerting when nothing is sniffed is not allowed. |
16. | Searching Vehicles: If your handler orders you to sniff a vehicle for drugs or weapons, no built-in mechanic/tool allows for this. To ‘sniff’ walk up to the vehicle trunk and do ‘/do sniffs the trunk ’, open the trunk, and see if any weapons or drugs are present. You can then relay this information by barking or using /do . For example, '/do alerts to the smell of drugs '. The same process is used on gloveboxes. Also, you should refer to your department's K9 SOPs to see if they handle this differently. Abuse of this and alerting when nothing is sniffed is not allowed. |
17. | Animal roleplayers are not allowed to carry weapons. They can use the animal weapon emotes available, but they cannot be in carrying actual guns or weapons. |
18. | /me can be used to express what an animal character is thinking. For example, ‘/me thinking about food ’. It should be used to add detail via the expression of thoughts, it is not to be used as a way to ‘speak’ For example, ‘/me I'm bored, lets go rob some people ’ |
19. | /do can be used to show what an animal character is doing. For example, ‘/do stare down the bird across the road ’. Actions that cannot be done via emotes or other actions. This should not be abused. |
20. | K9 cannot have civilian jobs, or be freeroaming around the city ‘off duty’ without their primary handler. |
