Be The Producer Of Your Own Story
At B⭐️RP, we aim to provide our player base the freedom to engage in creative storytelling while ensuring a positive experience for all. With that in mind, these are the rules we expect everyone using B⭐️ to follow. If you, as a player, believe that something negatively impacted a scene's outcome (and not just because you lost) or affected the overall enjoyment of those involved, and it isn't explicitly addressed in these rules, please open a ticket.
| 1.1.1 | Server restarts (tsunamis) happen twice daily at 3 AM & 3 PM PST. |
| 1.1.2 | You must adhere to the B⭐️RP Terms Of Service in addition to these rules. |
| 1.1.3 | You must remain in character at all times. |
| 1.1.4 | You cannot break character to explain a rule (rulesplaining). This includes the use of synonyms such as “bible”, “gods”, “government”, “prayers”, “rastapasta”, “rollypolly”, etc. |
| 1.1.5 | The following types of RP are NOT ALLOWED: Rape, or sexual assault, extreme torture, age play, suicide RP, slavery/human trafficing, or real world tradgedies. ERP is allowed in private homes (not apartments) or during designated private events. |
| 1.2.1 | If you crash during an RP scene, send a message via the B⭐️Discord _💑⋮support⋆chat_ and let anyone involved in the scene know. You're not allowed to use game crashes or OOC emergencies to gain an advantage, or disconnect during an active RP scene to avoid RP. consequences. |
| 1.2.2 | If you find an AFK player, leave them alone. Pretending to be AFK to avoid RP consequences will be classed as NITRP. |
| 1.3.1 | You can't discuss your other characters or share information, relationships, grudges, or storylines between your characters. This would include storylines/scenes where conflicts of interest may occur between characters. |
| 1.3.2 | You're not allowed to transfer (or ask a friend to help you transfer) money, items, or property between your characters. |
| 1.4.1 | Failing to RP your character correctly or according to the situation is called Fail RP. You should think about your actions and every possible outcome. Everything you do should have a valid RP reason behind it. Examples of Fail RP include, but are not limited to: |
| ⭐️Not RPing your injuries correctly. | |
| ⭐️Failing to fear for your life (when it is in immediate danger) and act accordingly. | |
| ⭐️Griefing, destroying vehicles with no RP reason, or trash-talking someone you barely know to start a gunfight. | |
| ⭐️After committing a crime, leave the area and value your freedom. No lingering just to shoot LEOs, camp bodies, emote, take pictures, etc. | |
| ⭐️Cop baiting, including using Birdy or other means to gain LEOs' attention with no valid RP reason. | |
| ⭐️'Borrowing’ players or using your friends as hostages. | |
| ⭐️Using NPCs or ‘emails’ (Discord) when RP options are available. | |
| 1.5.1 | You're not allowed to use information your character didn't learn through viable RP means, including information from OOC Discord channels, streams, voice calls, etc. You must use proximity chat, radios, or phones to communicate in-game. No third-party communication or Discord. |
| 1.6.1 | Using forced RP, in-game mechanics, or RP ideas to give you or your friends an unfair or unrealistic advantage is powergaming, and it's not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to: |
| ⭐️Forced RP, like cutting off someone's limb (without OOC consent). | |
| ⭐️RPing supernatural or unrealistic characters (without staff approval). B⭐️Supernatural & Fantastical RP Rules. | |
| ⭐️Stealing or reselling items from a player-owned business/armory - the theft/selling of LEO equipment will result in LEO blacklisting. | |
| ⭐️Paycheck farming. | |
| ⭐️Using locked/instanced doors to avoid RP consequences. | |
| ⭐️Forcing other players to sell their property or vehicles. | |
| ⭐️Stashing vehicles/loot or repairing during an active scene/chase. | |
| ⭐️Strategies focused on the win and not the RP, min/maxing the meta, or strategies to avoid all LEO interaction (during non-red zone heists and robberies), like using motorbikes/hypercars during store robberies. | |
| 2.1.1 | Green zones are “safe zones” where hostile/violent RP can't be started. The current green zones are: law enforcement offices, hospitals, and events advertised via the B⭐️Discord. The green zone area includes the surrounding sidewalk/parking. If you enter a green zone while engaged in violent RP, or to avoid it, there is no green zone protection. |
| 2.1.2 | The interiors of public clothing stores, tattoo parlors, and barber shops are green zones. |
| 2.1.3 | You're not allowed to steal key fobs at vehicle stores or the car park attached to the store (PDM, Prestige Motors & Screamin' Eagles Motorsports). |
| 2.1.4 | The current red zones are: the train heist, the oil rig heist, the airdrop heist, and the yacht heist(s). Red zones are only in effect during active heists (from when the job is started). If you enter these zones, you should be prepared for violent RP, which may or may not include initiation; all other rules apply. |

| When your character is incapacitated, there are two downed phases: phase one (bleeding out) and phase two (double-tapped/flatback). | |
| 2.2.1 | During the bleeding-out phase, you're conscious and suffer no memory loss if you receive medical care before flatbacking. If you are double-tapped/flatbacked, you can't remember what happened during or what led to the scenario you were downed in. |
| 2.2.2 | You cannot return to where you were injured for thirty (30) minutes. If the scene is complete, LEOs can return to collect evidence or help with transportation. |
| 2.2.3 | If you double-tap/flatback another player, any conflict with that player is done. |
| 2.2.4 | You are not allowed to double-tap and search/rob another player (excluding bodycam removal), it's one or the other. |
| 2.2.5 | If you have no memory of a scenario due to being flatback (fully downed), you cannot enact revenge, even if you're reminded. |
| 2.2.6 | You have three (3) days to enact revenge. |
| 2.3.1 | You must be considerate of other players and their stories, and value your life and the lives of others. You shouldn't rob or shoot people for little to no RP reason, or without a story buildup. Repeatedly resorting to violent interactions, with little to no RP between scenes, will be classed as GP Over RP. |
| 2.3.2 | You can't kill a compliant hostage/victim. |
| 2.3.3 | Don't do things that could result in serious injury, like repeated ramming vehicles, driving fast off-road in a sports car, driving up sheer mountain faces, attempting unrealistic car jumps, jumping from a high height without a parachute, etc. |
| 2.3.4 | Inflicting physical harm, or downing someone, without talking to them or having a valid RP reason is called RDM (Random Death Match). Vehicle deathmatch (VDM) is the same, but using a vehicle as a weapon. RDM and VDM are not allowed. If you have no other viable means of escape, you can use a vehicle once to knock down another player; a failed attempt counts. |
| 2.4.1 | You are not allowed to rob other players or steal items from their vehicles during the thirty (30) minutes before the server restarts (tsunami), or the thirty (30) minutes after the server restarts. |
| 2.4.2 | You can't rob someone just to take their belongings; there should be a reason for the theft, and each item taken. No pocket wiping, no targeting new players, no forcing people to withdraw cash and no taking phones. Don’t rob LEOs just for their guns/equipment. |
| 2.4.3 | You must allow your victim(s) an adequate amount of time to respond before shooting. |
| 2.4.4 | Stealing, lending/borrowing, gifting, or selling of B⭐️RP Award Chains isn’t allowed. Blessed B⭐️RP Award Chains are NOT covered by this rule, they can be stolen. |
| 2.4.5 | Players who take any of the below-listed items from another player’s inventory, stash, or vehicle (carryable containers are not included) must keep them in their own inventory for three (3) days to give the player a chance to retrieve their stolen property. ⭐️ Jewelry ⭐️ Star Pass Rewards ⭐️ Items Purchased From The Star Pass App You cannot sell, stash, or remove the item(s) from your person in any way during this time. This includes moving it to protected inventory slots or hiding in unreachable locations; this will be considered powergaming. |
| ‘Robberies’ are any robbable entity (not including players) that's not a heist. The current heists are Bobcat, train, oil rig, drug boats and yachts, air drops, Humane labs, barrel drops, and the casino. | |
| 2.5.1 | Players are not allowed to start a robbery or heist during the sixty (60) minutes before the server restarts (tsunami), or the thirty (30) minutes after the server restarts. |
| 2.5.2 | A maximum of five (5) players can be involved in a robbery. |
| 2.5.3 | A maximum of eight (8) players can be involved in a heist. |
| 2.5.4 | All heists can be countered if law enforcement has not arrived on the scene. For law enforcement to be classed as on scene, one LEO ground vehicle, with flashing lights, must be visible. |
| 2.5.5 | Players can have two (2) primary escape vehicles at the location of the robbery/heist. Primary escape vehicles cannot be motorcycles or bikes. |
| 2.5.6 | Players must wait thirty (30) minutes between each robbery, heist, or player robbery. |
| 3.1.1 | You're not allowed to shoot LEOs during routine traffic stops. |
| 3.1.2 | You can't break others out of custody if they're inside or in transit to a police building or hospital. |
| 3.1.3 | Ambushing LEO is not allowed. Players may not bait, lure, or set up police with the intention of attacking them (such as fake calls, staged situations, or bait traffic stops). Violence against LEOs must come from a natural escalation of an active RP scenario. |
| 3.1.4 | During robberies or heists, the number of LEOs allowed to respond is the criminal limit plus two (+2). |
| 3.1.5 | Law Enforcement Officers can only be robbed during an active All Call or where the police response has exceeded the criminal limit +2 rule (3.1.4). In all other criminal/LEO interactions, officers are only considered robbable if MORE THAN TEN (10) officers have engaged. Officers cannot be robbed during all criminal/police interactions unless one of these conditions is met. |
| 3.1.6 | Roleplaying any form of DOJ or LEO corruption (without staff approval via RP Request Ticket) is not allowed. This would include choosing not to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). |
| 3.1.7 | Players who are part of a whitelisted gang cannot be promoted above the rank of Senior Officer or join subdivisions (excluding Heat/Traffic Division) on their LEO character without staff approval via RP Request Ticket. |
| 3.1.8 | Departments conducting a warranted raid must give the owner of the house being raided a thirty (30) minute (OOC) warning before the raid starts. Once the warning has been provided, no one is allowed to touch property stashes or vehicles until the raid is complete. (For gang stashes the gang leader should be notified.) |
| 3.2.1 | Players are not allowed to force EMS or Fire to revive another player, or immediately move them to the hospital without any necessary medical RP. |
| 3.3.1 | Roleplaying as an animal requires staff approval via a roleplay request ticket. Animal roleplayers must adhere to the B⭐️Animal RP Rules & Guidelines. |
| For the rules, a gang is a group of three (3) or more people who identify as part of a group by adopting a group identity. This can include a name, slogan, identifying sign, clothing color, symbol, tattoo, etc. Gangs usually exist to engage in criminal activity. | |
| 4.1.1 | Gangs cannot have more than thirty (30) members. No, circumventing this by having eternal hang-arounds. |
| 4.1.2 | Gangs are limited to eight (8) people for any gang activity (selling, spraying, pushing other gangs, etc.). You can defend your turf/lab with anyone present when conflict starts, but you can't add additional people beyond the eight (8) limit. |
| 4.1.3 | Players are allowed to be in one (1) gang across all characters. This includes animal characters. |
| 4.1.4 | If you leave or are bled out of a gang (whitelist or non-whitelist), you must wait fourteen (14) days before joining another gang. During these fourteen (14) days, you cannot become a hang-around for another gang, undertake gang-related activities, or rep gang colors. |
| 4.1.5 | Gangs must operate as separate entities, and ‘beef’ between gangs must be one-on-one. |
| The B⭐️Gang Team approves whitelisted gangs. They enjoy additional features and RP privileges and are held to a higher RP standard. | |
| 4.2.1 | Whitelisted gangs must keep a minimum of four (4) active members on their roster. |
| 4.2.2 | Gangs are not allowed to initiate violent interactions (kidnapping, shooting, robbing, etc.) at a rival gang's business or place of employment during any gang-on-gang conflict. Baiting violent interactions (through texts, Birdy, etc.) will nullify this rule. |
| 4.3.1 | Gang members, who sell or spray on turf they don't own, must wear visible gang colors. If the gang that owns the turf wants to retaliate, they must also be wearing gang colors. KOS is not alllowed, gangs must interact before shooting. |
| 4.4.1 | The location of lab doors must make sense. They're doors to buildings and must be placed over existing doors, not against a rock, tree, etc. |
| 4.4.2 | Labs cannot be placed inside a locked compound or building, they must be publicly accessible. |
| When two gangs have beef, each is allowed one opportunity to 'retaliate' before they must arrange and attend an official in-character meeting to discuss a non-violent, roleplay-focused solution. Gangs are not allowed to reject any request to meet. Gangs can opt for turf-based (LP) or shooting wars, but any war must have approved ROE and a clear resolution or end in sight unless approved by the Madrazo Gang on a case-by-case basis. In addition to negotiated ROE, the following will always apply: | |
| 4.5.1 | Players must have been a rostered/papered member of a gang for 7+ (seven plus) days to participate in a gang war. |
| 4.5.2 | Assistance from other gangs, recruits, friends, etc., is not allowed. |
| 4.5.3 | Gang members must wear visible gang colors and any mask associated with their gang. |
| 4.5.4 | Any attempt to prevent an opposing gang member from being recovered by EMS or emergency services will result in a gang strike. |
| 4.5.5 | After any violent interaction the defeated party must vacate the area and wait thirty (30) minutes before re-engaging. |
| 4.5.6 | When war ends, the “beef” is done, the two gangs go on cooldown and can't re-engage for 7 (seven) days unless approved by the Madrazo Gang. |
| A gang strike can be awarded when three (3) or more members of a whitelisted gang break a rule or one that mentions strikes. Strikes remain on a gang’s record for two (2) months and halt reward progression. If a gang accumulates three (3) strikes, it risks being disbanded. | |
| 4.6.1 | Whitelisted gangs that accumulate more than 150 points, across their thirty [30] members, will enter the “danger zone,” and additional points past 180 will result in a gang strike. Gangs awarded points and a strike for one incident will not receive an additional strike if those points exceed the cap. Not all points count across characters. |
| 4.6.2 | If a gang's total cumulative points hit 180, the gang leader will be given two options: 1) Cull members and bring the total points under 150. 2) Retain its members, but receive a second strike if gang members receive additional points during the next thirty (30) days. The gang leader has seven (7) days to choose an option. |
| 4.6.3 | Gang members who are removed due to 4.6.2 can't re-join the gang for thirty (30) days or participate in gang activities. |
